2008 Rally for Wellness!

More than 2,600 faculty and staff attended the 2008 Rally for Wellness! Health Fair Sept. 17 at its new location, the Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC). Four university organizations -- the Faculty and Staff Wellness Program, University Staff Advisory Committee, Recreational Sports and Your Plan for Health -- joined forces to bring health, wellness and Buckeye spirit to the seventh annual wellness fair.

More than 100 health- and wellness-related exhibitors and professionals offered biometric screenings; chair massages; osteoporosis and skin cancer screenings; healthy cooking demos;and even tips for "going green." New this year was a farmer's market with locally grown produce.

The Red Cross sponsored an on-site blood drive and OSU cheerleaders, players, band and Brutus Buckeye made an appearance.

Attending the health fair also earns points toward the university's annual Incentive Program, so be sure to attend again next year!
