When can you make changes to your benefits?

You have the opportunity to change your medical, dental, and vision benefits and the flexible spending accounts program only one time per year - open enrollment - the fourth quarter of the calendar year. Changes you make to your enrollment are effective January 1. The enrollment will automatically renew in all programs except the Flexible Spending Account (FSA). You must re-enroll in the FSA each year, to properly allocate your contribution

When the Open Enrollment period has ended, you can only make changes to your health plans or change dependents covered due to a Qualifying Event. Notification of a Qualifying Event must be given to the OHR Customer Service Center at 292-1050 or 1-800-678-6010 within 31 days of the event.
